The Scottish Rite is one of three branches of Freemasonry in which a Master Mason may proceed after he has completed the three degrees of Symbolic Masonry, better known as "The Blue Lodge." The Scottish Rite confers twenty-nine degrees, usually in dramatic allegory, from the 4th to 32nd, at what are called "Reunions." It also confers a 33rd Degree once a year at its Annual Conference, which is an honorary degree, given for exemplary work at a Scottish Rite or in your community. This degree cannot be applied for.

Chidrens Learning Center Walkathon
September 15, 2012
 

The 2012 annual walkathon for the Childrens Learning Center will be held on September 15, 2012 with registration at 9:00AM and the 5K walk starting at 10:00 AM.  The walk route starts and ends at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center and winds along the Saginaw River waterfront and through downtown Bay City.  There will be refreshments, face painters, entertainment and a whole lot of fun.  Bring the family and enjoy the fun.  Registration information will be posted shortly.

BOAT DEGREE


Joppa Lodge will be hosting the Boat Degree again on June 19.  Fellowcraft Degree will be  conferred in full form by the Valley of Bay City Fellowcraft Degree Team.  A great evening with good fellowship, excellent degree work and good food.  Watch for more details.
